I never signed a nondisclosure, so I am not the one with the problem here. Also, if I am jeopardizing a pension plan that is only being negotiated for your benefit and not the entire pilot group, then so be it.
And Solidarity happens when you have people working as a team. A great team can only form when one part of the group stops negotiating for their sole benefit.
Johnny could not agree more!
Also, Atlasslave mentioned the that if you want to truth read his posts.....The truth according to who? Really....
As far as not campaigning I did not read anything in the last 8 or 10 pages of this thread that would constitute campaigning. Also after carefully reading the 1224 bylaws, there is NO reference to when campaigning can begin. Plus the DoL, LMRDA, OLMS or the NLRB address when campaigning can officially start, in 'the' guidebook they leave it up to the individual union. I am not sure where Atlasslave got the info. Is this a truth??????
BTW, if it is true that we are talking about a 'retirement' or any 'adjustment' to gateway travel, then the group should be PO'ed that we were not asked the question, "what do you want?" Oh, I guess it is sorta like the AQP negotiations, they did not ask the pilot group either, I guess they just know better than the pilot group does.
Anyway for those wanting to work at Atlas it is a fairly good place to work. I believe that it will be a much better place to work in the near future.
