Sorry, that is not directed at you personally. It just makes me sad how low this profession is sinking. Every airline pilot should have a college degree.
Sinking? When did anyone ever need a degree to teach aviation? Flying an airplane is a vocation, not an academic discipline.

Just because an AA takes half as much time as a bachelor's doesn't mean it's even halfway as well-regarded or marketable. It's just vocational training, and more often than not, many of the courses in an AA curriculum aren't transferrable into a 4-year program, so basically an AA is closer to a high school diploma than a bachelor's.
