Few times a month should be Quality Inn. That's your best bet, make reservations the day before. Any more than a few times I would check out Red Roof

Motel 6 is the cheapest but bad. Ramada is bad too and more than the Red Roof.

Just my opinion. Have done them all a bunch depending on the options available.
