Why do you feel the need to tell someone what he should or shouldn't do?
You're flying with NERD this weekend huh?

I was referring to NERD's FO who is apparently "itching" for a reason to walk off. If in his professional opinion he should not extend (yes for any reason) then he should not agree to continue. That was not the impression that I got from NERD's post.

To blatantly look for a reason to disturb the operation isn't helping any of us. Since you like flying with guys like that, can I assume you're of the same mindset that it's okay to look for reasons ("itch") to "walk away."

^^^^This is a separate conversation from the acceptance of an extension. I'm talking about a guy that is looking to cause problems. If your personal policy is to never extend because you think our duty days are long enough (and therefore unsafe) then fine, but actively looking/itching for a reason to walk off a trip is a whole different animal. I'd like to think we're better than that.
