I have no problem with Skywest or Compass painting their hulls in Eagle colors. Those pilots have contracts in place and their company was awarded some American flying. They are trying to feed their family just like the rest of us. Does it suck for Envoy pilots who were promised those new planes PSA were given after taking bankruptcy concessions a year ago? Sure. But what really stings is a pilot group anxious to take concessions for those new planes seconds after the Eagle pilots said NO to more consessions in the form of a B scale. This was a time to stick together as a profession. Not take consessions and lower the bar to entice Parker to place these shiny new planes with the lowest bidder. How much less are we worth? I'm sure some other fly by night company will sell their souls to AAG to get a few new planes so their pilots can get a quick upgrades at the expense of the rest of the airline profession. Fortunately PSA is a small company and the hiring departments at the majors are aware of these Gojet like maneuvers. And fortunately the rest of the regional airline pilots are unified together as to not take more concessions to get new planes and quick upgrades. The rest of us need to stay strong and not let a minority group ruin our profession and livelihood.
