Then that's their choice, if they want to bail out knowing they will probably kicked to the curb no matter if they try to fight the fight and stay or potentially not having a paycheck.

The reality of the regionals today is that mainline carriers don't want to own a regional airline. If you want to look at the history of regionals, start with Delta and their wholly owned regionals. It's all about economics these days, not about a certain pilot group and their contract and CEO.
