It's sad when you have to have someone to blame for your failings and missteps. I got a pm that told your story. Furloughed relatively early at UAL. Got hired at CAL but before the merger and this put you in a position to take a Captain bid early. All is good as long as the SLI goes the CAL way. As it turned out, the new found seniority got taken away with the SLI. Now you'll be on reserve watching other furloughed UAL types step in front of you while taking their rightful place on the SLI and now the seat. Right so far?

This kind of explains why you resent the furloughed UAL guys. It's tough when you got the gold spoon only to have it taken alway and forcing you to accept the silver spoon which turned into bronze. It really does fall on your shoulders and you'll always have Staller in the back of your mind because you created him. Get over it!
