I never had any intention of not answering honestly. You can never know for sure what shows up on a background check.
I have always accepted responsibility for my actions, the reason for my post was to try and get a feel in this current hiring environment how this might play out for me. I completely understand the number of qualified applicants must be sorted out in some manner and I was hoping for a little insight to see if anyone has recently been interviewed with a past violation. From other info I know that my flight times, and check airman experience would score well....but my age (over 50) and violation...may offset those.
Since my company recently shut down, I'm in need of a job soon. I'm looking at all options and want the best possible intel so I can make some hard decisions.
