I'd say in a long run you'll be happy at either. Now it all comes down to bases and demographics - 75% of Delta pilots are younger than 50, 50% of Continental pilot are older than 50..
If you like DAL's bases more than CAL's go with DAL.
But the ride will be much faster at CAL - furlough protection, upgrades etc. In 2 years I have 20% of pilot's group junior to me.
