He was called a douche for implying that the poster was an idiot for having poor comprehension skills of a fellow coworker. As for the opinion, I did not perceive it as one. The poster was passing that information off as fact that was later dissected by the ASA MEC Chair. Honestly, he wrote that stuff as:
