Apologies, but this whole "I heard Mesa can't staff and all of their new hires are failing etc" is on par with the line of "I have a friend at the FAA and only 9 CFI certificates were issued in 2013." Please.

The unfortunate news is that these bottom end carriers like Mesa, GoJet and PSA are having no problem staffing their airplanes. Don't believe me? Look at where the new flying is going, they will staff it and they won't have a problem. While Compass is a reputable carrier with an above average contract they will have ZERO issues staffing their 20 E175s. Too many pilots are willing to sell out and work under a dismal contract to "get PIC time" and move on, it is a simple fact. Everyone ragged G7 back in the day...they're still here, everyone has ragged PSA and they're still here...

I'm not saying it's right, nor would do I suggest new pilots apply and work for such carriers, but I'm just typing the reality of where we are these days. It's a sad reality.
