It depends on who you get. When I did my initial checkride, the FQS asked about my previous airframe. I told him it was a TP and he about went through the roof. He said we couldn't do the checkride because I didn't have he proper high altitude training. I tried to educate him a little but he would hear none of it. He started to make a call and I told him it was okay because I also had 1000+ in a jet. Didn't matter, he still made a couple calls until he was assured everything was okay. Found out later he was a ground instructor with a PPL who made his way into flight ops.
