Maybe just hiring until he reaches 1500. I have like 1475 can meet the restricted minimums, but the recruiter seemed like he was wondering when I would reach 1500. My interview is in two weeks.
A guy in my interview group (a few years ago) was hired with ~1,460ish and told to have 1,500 by training...which turned out not to be a problem. Good guy, if I remember correctly he was barely old enough to even get his ATP...probably about to upgrade to Captain.
