I've said probably a dozen times on here that
profit sharing is a scam to make you feel "like part of the organization". Give me dollars that can't be manipulated by the accountants, either in direct compensation or work rules. For the life of me,

Contract costs directly impact the bottom line, profit sharing allows the company to boost EPS, and still pay out compensation bonuses. Almost all companies do it. The business system in this country is severely broken though, as Wall Street actually punishes you for doing good things.
