Actually, I think the Dec 2013 class just finished IOE in May sometime, so it is more like 2 months in the right seat. They may not be off high mins yet. But, of course that is plenty of time in this easy airplane to fly.
The 5th person from the bottom of the last seniority list update, May 9, 2014, was awarded Captain.
The really great thing is that this new Captain is going to be flying with FO's that haven't even been hired yet once he gets off IOE. Flying the worst trips, into the worst airports, with regularly exploding engines, with a constantly changing base and the famous platinum G4 support system- Nothing unsafe there!
