In this case, I disagree that we all voted for this provision. It was a shock to me that they don't count DH as a reassignment, but if we had ferried the airplane it would have been. It's creative contract interpretation by the company. It wouldn't have changed my vote, but this interpretation is smarmy. Oh, and it's been applied differently to different pilots according to ALPA. So it's clear as mud, even to the crew schedulers.
Btw, what is your job title and who do you work for? You clearly aren't a UAL pilot, but since you're lobbing your opinion in here I think it's fair to know what you're angle is.
