Do they teach you how to properly use and interpret the radar in class? That is a black art....I mean, anyone can turn it on and play with the gain and tilt, but to truly understand what that thing's telling you is a whole different level of learning.

Also, do you guys have NEXRAD data through ADS-B available on most RJs? Admittedly, NEXRAD is only useful for strategic and not tactical use due to the data delay, but was just wondering if that's available in the older jets.
