An AA Captain friend tells me the window is closed for now as they have a ton of apps, as well as returnees/AA Eagle Guys and Gals. He said it might open again in the future just to keep a steady app pool. Lots of retirements so figure hiring will continue.?

UAL and DAL have a lot lot leaving too.

I am wondering if there is such a thing as over qualified? I have contacts at ALL the majors, freight too and, I am getting the impression they don't want guys/gals with too much experience. 5-7000 hours, a degree and some PIC turbine time. Much more than that and "You are an old dog"! 45 years of age seems to be a cutoff as well.
