Um it is OUR -200 flying in which United assigned to us for this month. Take things out of context much? SKW is flying the -200 on some routes in IAH. "Our -200 flying." XJT is flying the 145 on other routes out of Houston. YOUR -145 flying.
Regardless, it's not your 200 flying as much as it's my 145 flying. That was my only point. Besides, you specifically said "EV" which includes 200s and 145s. But like I said, my point is that none of this flying belongs to any regional as evidenced by all the shuffling.

Soon it won't even be "their -145 flying." Aint that right, Nevets?
It never was. And I can only hope that UAL, DAL, and AAL take all their branded flying back. But to your point, I certainly can see them eventually parking all 145s. These are not B52s we are talking about where they last 60+ years.

Either that or they didn't want to risk another 2 years or more to see if it would happen because CAL/UAL wouldn't let their biggest feed dissolve in a bk anyway.
Thank you for saying this. So many XJT guys walk around like there was some magic success with branded flying and you guys weren't bleeding cash hand over fist.
It's doesn't matter a lot to line pilots I guess. We just come to work and do our job. It's just infuriating to hear people spreading, heck building, a myth of a healthy XJT.
I certainly saw a possibility of bk reorganization back then. It's not a situation that CAL wanted because they lose most of their control when that happens (and so does anyone else who was interested in buying XJT). But that's not to say that it wouldn't have had a "successful" outcome or if it wasn't Skywest who was brought in by CAL to buy XJT, that they wouldn't have brought someone else to buy XJT instead or bought them back just as DAL bought Pinnacle (even though they were MUCH smaller of the percentage of DAL's feed). But to say that XJT was on the edge of disappearing with all employees becoming unemployed is just as absurd as those of us who say that XJT was just fine with the status quo at the time.
