And the truth is, nobody is ever going to check the TSO issue. But, yes, if it makes you feel better, you can get TSO.

As for DC's, I wore my trusty DCs for 15 years, and while they work great, and are rugged, there just came a time when I couldn't take the headaches any more....especially given the long days of a regional pilot.

Trust me....the QC/UFM combo is a great deal.
