If airlines that have been in business for 80+ years are consolidating, then starting a new airline probably isn't a good idea. Skybus failed, Virgin America is floundering, and Spirit and Allegiant cover the "underserved" markets of the USA. So where is the real opportunity for People Express or Eastern? It doesn't exist, yet some clowns who have money then they know what to do with are going to inject false hope into people all for the chance of making more $$$. It's sad and despicable.

You're comparing People Express(a start up airline dependent on marketing, ticket sales, profit) to a FFD regional that makes money off of being paid per block hour. Mesa, GoJet, etc make money from empty seats. People Express will not.
