it will not be the first time what was eagle also did feed for another mainline besides AA. Eagle has in LAX fed US Airways, and TWA and until 2 years ago was also a DELTA code share. So it is not out of the realm of impossible. It was just not advertised except in the individual mainline in flight magazine.
