I've been working at a Major for about a year, but I would still like to make the switch to Delta. I've had my app in for over a year and I've continued to update. At first, I thought my experience from another 121 carrier would help, but since I still haven't been called, I'm starting to wonder. Is there any chance that currently being at another major airline hurts my chances of getting an interview? Opinions?
I asked this question directly to a Delta HR person. I was told they have no problem at all taking people from other majors and that's a common misconception they hear. They said in fact they really think highly of when someone would rather work for Delta and they know industry timing and such may be why you're there.
