What? I didn't say anything derogatory or negative about Ferd and I didn't say anything about him trying to stop me from speaking my mind. What I did say is that I understood his perspective but didn't agree with his conclusions. I see nothing disrespectful or confrontational about what I said. Why are you so eager to try and turn it into something like that?

So what are the authorized "topics" here? I didn't realize there was a list of prohibited ones. Is it somewhere in the forum rules and I missed it? And while we're at it, what "heavy emotional" words did I use? The vast majority of my posts use facts to make the point I'm trying to make. Maybe what I say doesn't further a useful discussion for your purposes, but that doesn't invalidate what I have to say and it also doesn't make it inappropriate. I get that you disagree with me on just about everything. And that's fine but you're not going to get any respect from me by in effect suggesting to me that I should shut up and color.

Where did you get the idea that I was "directing new hires here to get their questions answered?" I was simply responding to a couple of others (including Ferd) who suggested that new hires wouldn't be able to get questions answered here if we were clogging the thread up with discussions about topics that you, Ferd, and some others don't like.

For the record, I would never suggest to a new hire that APC is the place to get questions answered, especially with something that could potentially get them in trouble. That was someone else's idea when they asserted that contract discussions would somehow interfere with a new hire's ability to get questions answered here. It wasn't my idea and I think you know that. Again, why are you so eager to turn this into something it's not?

Yeah. I think I said something like that almost verbatim. And I meant every word of it. I just flew with a new hire yesterday and today. It is one of my favorite things to do! So what's your point in putting that into a post to me?
