How does that work? In a normal day to day conversation most people can figure out whether or not an individual is honest, decent, and morally sound. An interview is not a normal conversation, especially a pilot interview. It's stressful. Human beings handle stress very differently. Can you tell the difference between the pilot who is stressed or trying to give an evasive answer? I seriously doubt it.
I stand by my original statement, FAs have no business being present during a pilot interview. Pilot's do not work for FAs. This process undermines the chain of command required on an aircraft. Additionally, it devalues the position and I personally believe that is why the management at JetBlue instituted it. I look forward to your well researched response.
Pilots don't work for HR either but they are there and are a big part of the process. Pilots hiring pilots would be great but instead its HR asking question after question trying to play mind games. Why are you so upset about it if you don't want to work for JB in the first place?
