Didn't we do that in C2K? What happened to them?

Lets say we would reconsider that. Who would we use? Who has USAPA and APA used? Oh yeah that's right the same firm that those who are trying to unseat ALPA uses. Any what did USAPA and APA do with them? That's right, fired them. Who have they used for their consulting work since then? Yep. ALPA E&FA.

Reality is, "outside consultants" sounds like a really good idea, but when you realize that most "law firms" that mask themselves as "consultants" who work for corporate america, will not touch labor because it will cut off their true cash flow, your options get really limited. Their are two outside firms and ALPA E&FA that will truly work with labor. We use ALPA and the best firm, others have used the other and then decided to use our services.
Per T, I wasn't here for 2k so I'm not supposed to have an opinion or voice it. But again, let's discuss what the present is and not go to the old excuse of "well, back when" or "he said this so I said this." Instead, simply look at the possible insight someone from outside the group think could have provided. That and, "You do realize there appear to be some HUGE profits coming the company's way. So I ask again, why are you giving up profit sharing when things are booming?!!!!"

As to only having a handful of options for purely consulting purposes, well, that right there shows the closed mindedness I speak of. I'm not an insider (or outsider) who can provide you with a consultant, but for what we spend on a secretary or two, or a few oil paintings I find it hard to believe another set of eyes for contract language can't be found out there in the U.S.A. But apparently your way is best, which is what ALPA keeps telling us, so case closed. Thanks.
