Nah. While I'm sure volunteering is enlightening, I don't buy in to the mind control bunk. I think you hear that all the time because they need more people to get of their asses and do some of the work. If they didn't want people coming in, they wouldn't be asking for new bodies all the time. JMO.
Yes, there was some hyperbole in my statement, and I agree they truly do want the help because there is a lot of work. But many can't help but feel there's more to it than just the work; some indoctrination as well. Not everyone, mind you; I mean, some of it's just a quick intro then some instruction on how to do job XXX and off you go, with updates as needed (or so I would guess). Could see doing some of that myself someday if I'm no longer a commuter getting 83 hour lines with 18 days scheduled.
