First the big news - CJO on Monday! 8 interviewed, 6 offers given. of the 8, 3 where military flying only, 3 were military background currently flying 121, and 2 were civilian flight school, instructor, now regional guys.

Great experience, Delta campus is impressive! Everyone from the folks at the gate on up were professional, friendly, and excited to be there. Can't wait to get started!

Everyone did their best to make you feel relaxed and comfortable....not that that was going to happen!

My timing - application completed last Sept/Oct, though it was terrible until post WAI conference when I learned how I should have filled it out. Interview offer came early June, 6 week wait until the big day. Never got a fix-it email.

Rumors - heard them offering interviews in late September as earliest dates available. Also heard talk of potentially upping the number of interviewees per day from 8 to 12 starting in October. Class dates - 4 Aug is filled, class on 11 Aug, told to expect 18 Aug class. So expect a quick turn after a CJO! Not a problem here, got nothing to do but fish until indoc!

So my question - can anyone point me to a website or another thread to find out about which aircraft as based where, which aircraft fly which routes, aircraft/crew base pairings, etc? 2 wings, couple engines, and some landing gear would be nice (not too picky!) but curious as to what is available out there knowing NYC and ATL are most likely crew bases.
Congrats Fish, and welcome aboard! To answer your question, here are the bases and acft categories at Delta. As far as I know, most new hires get ATL, NYC, or DTW. Domestic 717 and M88 fly 4-5 legs a day and mostly stay east of the Rockies. 73N and 320 fly 2-3 legs a day and will go coast to coast throughout a 4-5 day rotation. 7ER (757/767) fly 1-2 legs a day unless your senior and fly across the pond to Asia, Europe, S. America, Africa on 6-12 day trips. 765 (767-400), 330, 777, 747 are exclusively international. I don't think new hires are getting the 7ER any more, so plan on some Caribbean, Mexico and Canada on some narrow body trips to keep it interesting between your ATL-BHM turns.

ATL; 717, M88, 320, 73N, 7ER (757/767), 765 (76-400), 330, 777
NYC; M88, 320, 73N, 7ER, 765...gotta cover EWR, JFK, LGA
DTW; 717, 320, 73N, 7ER, 330, 777, 747
CVG; M88, 73N
MSP; M88, 320, 7ER
SLC; 320, 73N, 7ER
LAX; 73N, 7ER..gotta cover LAX, SNA, ONT
SEA; 7ER, 330

(hope I didn't forget anybody?)

Rumors of 717 base in either NYC or west coast and 330 in NYC.

Good Luck..
