Without these taken into consideration, it's not a very accurate depiction of the compensation these charts seeks to do.
Nevets - thank you for the very constructive criticism. I completely agree with you!!!
So, this is a work in progress. I would like to eventually get deferred compensation factored in, as well as per diem. I want it to be very clear what is what - so that, as much as possible, we can compare apples to apples. Perhaps we can have three charts... zero, 1/2, and full contribution levels.
I think that zero and full would be good. People can interpolate in between. Although I don't know why anybody wouldn't contribute enough to get their full match? You can't afford not too!
For xjt:
401k matching
<5 YOS 100% up to 4%
5<10 YOS 100% up to 5%
10+ YOS 100% up to 6%
PLUS
Defined Company Contribution (no match required)
<5 YOS 2.5%
5<10 YOS 4%
10<15 YOS 5%
15<20 YOS 5.5%
20+ YOS 6.0 %
Per diem $1.80/hr
