Sim is not accurate. HR is fairly accurate. Tech is reading charts and fairly basic. There we no gotcha questions.
I interviewed a week ago. The gouges are very accurate as far as the Tech/HR portions. There may have been only a couple things I was asked that weren't in the gouges, and they weren't significant enough to stick out to me. The sim is very touchy and you no longer have the flight director. I didn't fly perfectly but it still turned out okay. I think they are looking for basic instrument skills and the callouts they send you. Briefed a hold and then got vectors for ILS 36L.
