It seems nobody has ever said No to Richard. How do you ever expect to get back what we gave up, if you're not willing to stand up to him? Get on your knees and beg? How's that working so far?
If the company opened with 0 raises, any decent negotiator would have just walked out. That's not negotiating in good faith.
