So...I'm thinking our "RFP 50 wide bodies" will be the NEO A330's. Richard asked for them, Airbus built them. I don't ever see us getting another 777.
With that in mind, do we want pay banding? Should we negotiate to bring it up to 747 pay? Bring everything from the 767 ER up to 747 pay?
You know what? I'll bet RA would be thrilled with that, given the amount of retirements and training that's going to be required in the next 10 years.
Can we use that as leverage? And Richard's, "Labor problems are off the table" thing, can we leverage that into better pay rates and a better retirement plan?
