I have a wife and 4 girls under age 10. We are living off of 2000 a month
400 - rent
325 - car
300 - gas
300 - electricity
500 - necessities (food, pampers, liquor, cigarettes
)
200 - extra stuff.
We work for a school district, so our retirement is automatically taken out.
