From what I've heard, US Airways sold the engines on the 100's years ago, and now lease them back. So as far as I'm concerned, we don't really own $hit. Just a flea on the dog's back unfortunately. Maintenance costs have increased tremendously on the 100's also. I don't consider our fleet to be the workhorse it used to be. Time will tell, but I believe the writing is on the wall.
