I bet they want B. But, it kind of depends on the aircraft. In the B738 sim I had the instructor tell me to do brakes, spoilers reverse...which is different from the 10, where its brakes, reverse, spoilers. But then again, we have a FE still in the 10 that can grab the spoiler handle for us. But in any case, it's always brakes first...so B (after throttles idle of course).
Boeing changed the order of reversers and spoilers because guys were reacting too quickly and actually trying to engage the reversers too quickly which causes damage. The order changed to go to reverse, manually ensure the spoilers are up, then pull the reversers up about a year or so ago for use on the 73 700.
