No worries. Since he ran as a republican, there was no ALPA PAC support whatsoever when he was elected in 2011.

No, it goes to show you that ALPA PAC very rarely supports a republican when that republican is trying to unseat a democrat incumbent.

It's not a lack of balance on the hill that prevented the trust you sought amongst your member pilots, it's the lack of balance within the ALPA PAC that fosters the mistrust. Just look at these numbers on how ALPA PAC supports new congressional candidates:

2007-2008: Democrats 21...Republicans 0
2009-2010: Democrats 24...Republicans 3
2011-2012: Democrats 40...Republicans 5
2013-2014: Democrats 21...Republicans 1

This very clearly shows the mindset of how ALPA PAC would like to see the congress trend. It's what prevents me from sending money to you. When I see those contributions for Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, then the endorsement of Obama, it's clear the PAC's views and my views couldn't be farther apart. Sure glad to see these "pilot partisans" supporting us against the Export/Import Bank...right?
