717 went senior in my class. Mainly for the quick movement, secondly for the ease of transition from previous equipment, as compared to the 88 or ER. Spent 1 month on reserve before I had a line. My first month with a line was 100% commutable trips (out of an airport with only 3 nonstops a day), with anywhere from 2-5 days off in between 3-4 day trips. Yes, the 717s have short legs, but I don't mind it or regret my choice at all. When I'm at work, I don't mind working, I'm all about commutability and days off! I can't understand, though, the people that prefer longer legs.
It's been a great experience, I am astounded at the movement and feel very lucky to be here.
