Thoughts that came to my mind include:
1. Our problems are not seasonal. Summer is a disaster due to engine temps. Winter is a disaster because we don't have type 4 anti-ice in the winter at half our out stations. Who would think Fargo would need type 4? Fall and spring mix both problems together.
2. Probably not a good idea to brag about our outrageous profits and higher productivity work force when three labor groups are unionized, negotiating for higher pay and benefits and are extremely p^&^ed off.
3. A "thank you" from management and shareholders is useless. Talk is cheap. Somehow allegiant management has made it even cheaper.
4. "these are the times we hoped for" Uh. Speak for yourself. No one here ever hoped for this. The place is a disaster.
5. "these are the times when we can make best secure our future" You proof read about as good as you manage. Not securing anything except continued failure.
6. "the importance of communications" "we have been clear with …ourselves" Really? Like the confidentiality agreements you made employees sign to hide the training dept. shutdown? Great communication. Very clear, very transparent.
7. Pilot staffing: "we've pretty much broken the training logjam" Wow, good work. Only be about a year to recover from the two week government shut down that had nothing to do with the logjam, been proven to have nothing to do with the logjam, yet you continue to blame for the logjam.
8. "Senior Leadership East Coast Visit" Thank you so much to grace us with your presence. Cant think of a better way to spend my free time.
9. "this letter started off much shorter in my head" Yes, we understand because just like your letter, when you talk, you never stop and after talking for an hour you've somehow managed to say nothing. Thanks G for robbing us of hours of our lives we will never get back.
10. "our best days are still to come" Thanks for parting on a high note but the meaning of "our" needs further discussion. Is it, "our" as in everyone, or "our" as in top management and investors?
