If you abort after moving forward there is a minimum 15 min cool down time IIRC and you must re-validate the release. Going to 70% and getting a warning with the brakes set, you just taxi off the runway, re-run the checklist and go. 2 mins tops, zero paperwork involved, no harm no foul.

In Threat and Error Management this would be known as a "barrier". Barriers are good.
