Yeah I REALLY don't get the bringing the spouse to a union meeting. Heck I've even seen guys bring the kids as well. I happen to care about my wife. I can think few forms of torture worse then making an outsider listen to the 5% blowhard factor that always turn LEC meetings into marathons.
Sure there's some pain, but where else will they hear the words "Bifurcate" and "Bloviate" (and all the other ALPA specific words) used by grown men and women trying really really hard to make a point?
