Time for just about every FO on either side to get out ASAP as upgrading on either side, especially the ERJ side will not be occurring.

The only saving grace is if somehow E 175s are placed on the XJT side to replace the 145 or if RFPs with Delta are extended to reduce the amount of CRJ's leaving. It's pretty clear that either side has no reason to move forward with this merger based on the fleet reduction news alone.
Specific to the already awarded 175s I believe.
