LAX is a 747 base. The flying is almost exclusively DHL flying to Asia. The frequency of departures from LAX has greatly reduced over the past few years. This has led to the base shrinking to a little less than 40 FO's. It's quite senior except for a few more junior crew members sitting at the bottom of the base list. Those junior guys were able to make it in when the base in Seattle opened this month. Going forward, unless something changes, I don't think LAX will grow.
