Hahahaha you clearly don't know some of the captains where I work! And you keep talking about face book, I just flew with a guy who surfed Facebook until brake release and then finally called for checklists and asked if I got everything done! You live in your own lite world and your attitude towards your first officers does not promote a healthy CRM environment! Unless of course this is your "Internet" persona and you're not like this in real life? I doubt it...

Where I work the first officer is also responsible for checking the AML and signing the release stating such. It is to back up the captain! Do you not think that we check the weather and notams? Do you not think we know what may be broken and differed? Either you have been working with the laziest guys ever or have had a few of them and thereby lumping all of us into that category!
