They were LEGENDARY within the entire company for being the biggest idiots. They may have been smart guys, but they were openly condescending, and hostile toward nearly EVERYONE they flew with. I kid you not, it was "meh, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy." Wow!! what a legacy that guy left behind.

I'll tell you this much, I flew as a captain for many, many years afterward, and I always tried to remember who I DIDN'T want to be like - THOSE guys.

I'm an FO again at a major airline, and I'm having a great time flying with captains who are nothing like Mr. Know-it-all ClickClickBoom. Great people all around, from the instructors, to the check airman, to the line captains.

While he (she?) raises valid points, the manner in which they are presented, with the holier-than-thou, preachy, I've-never-made-a-mistake, condescending attitude, is nearly beyond belief.

Get over yourself, clickclickboom. I mean really. Come on back down to earth with the real mortals.
