Yes, you will for sure gain 10 lbs your 1st year on the ER. As far as Africa and redeyes, I'm very junior and have never been to Africa and the red eyes are few and far between. DRK and ACC actually go senior. You will see just as many redeyes on the 320 & 737 fleets as you will on the ER.
The ER is a great job. Your chances of going to Africa with Roberts being dropped are not that great. The surfers suck up the DRK's and ACC pays well and will now be out and backs only.
