What do the senior captains bid? I'm curious what makes one stay with a regional after 10yrs other than taking a step back in pay.
How much difference is there in lifestyle (time off) between a junior FO and a senior FO or captain?

If I interviewed and was offered a class, how much flexibility is there to move a class to a later date? (Like a month or two)

I'm guessing the school is 4 weeks? How long does it take to go from day one in class to completion of IOE?
How are you paid while in class?

Thanks again for answering all my questions, I've read the entire thread to try and answer for myself.... No luck. Maybe my dumb questions will provide answers for the next guy
Ready reserve seems to go pretty junior from my experience. I am the DC ready and slept in my own bed 28 nights in july ( I live in base )

Shouldn't be an issue to change class dates.

Training is just shy of 2 months if you pass everything first go. I started indoc in march and started IOE in may. Only break I had was 5 days between systems and the sim.

You are paid you min guarantee while in training. 75 hours x $26.83hr

Welcome aboard! Study hard but don't forget to take a break on the weekends!
