Having a speeding ticket is not what I would call a skeleton in the closest. It's actually what makes you normal. We are pilots and we like speed, it makes sense to have a few tickets. I heard Arnie say that 7 tickets is when they become worried. They are really looking for tickets in the past few years and even one is not a deal killer but they are looking for a pattern. Sounds like you have a great resume and that's what got you the interview. Going to WIA did NOT get you an interview but did get your application reviewed. OC Miller has said himself that a job fair is by no means a qualifier for getting the interview. Everyone thinks you have to network to get the interview and this is so NOT the case! In fact it frustrates Delta recruiters to hear the rumor spread that you only get an interview by who you know. YOUR APPLICATION IS WHAT GETS THEIR ATTENTION AND ULTIMATELY THE INTERVIEW!! Look through this thread and look at the credentials of those that have been given an interview. They are interviewing those candidates that stand out in a crowd of 7,000 applications. They are NOT hiring those that network well or have skeletons in their closet.
