This is a perfect illustration that number one priority of DCI is to be a cheap source of lift and a "good enough" group of employees to serve Delta pax. The product is marketed as the same and seamless. Yet when it comes time to hire, they can find enough distinction between "us and them" so as to not hire all of us or even staple us to their list. I will concede that current Delta pilots as well as those receiving CJOs probably have higher qualifications than the average Endeavor pilot. But it would be disingenuous to say that the skill set that we all employ day to day on the line is materially different.
