Now, we all know how wonderful the media is at sound bites. Has anyone seen or read the WHOLE 45 minute interview? I do NOT trust the media.

Let's all get the FACTS!!! Then and only then can all of us forum "experts" argue our points. Right now you all look like a bunch of spoiled kids arguing over whose daddy is bigger. Sheesh.

I'm not defending Moak. I would just like to see the whole interview before passing judgment. I know none of us here have ever taken a snippet of a conversation and bashed anyone. ...roll eyes...
Where has it been established that it was a 45 minute interview? I'm not saying it wasn't, but I haven't seen any official statement indicating it was. I certainly could have missed it... so just asking.

And a couple of things that don't add up for me.

First, at least one poster here had a conversation over the phone with Moak about this. Moak apparently claims he was misquoted. If you were misquoted and were concerned about the ramifications of those misquotes, wouldn't you put out a statement ASAP setting the record straight with what you actually said and meant?

And if you did actually say those things but were taken out of context and it was twisted to present a different meaning, wouldn't you still put out a statement ASAP setting the record straight? Also, shouldn't someone in Moak's position and with his prominence be a little more careful to state things in a way that cannot be misinterpreted?

And why do my reps defend what Moak allegedly said to that reporter? My reps (your reps too) saw nothing wrong with those quotes. I exchanged numerous emails with them and I don't recall a single mention of the quotes being illegitimate... just a lot of time spent defending them.

Seems to me like somebody needs to get their story straight. When combined with other things Moak has said and done in the past, those quotes seem very consistent.

So, yeah, if there is a full transcript of the entire interview, it would be really helpful to see that.

In the meantime... if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck... there's a pretty good chance it's a duck!
