Good point, for those who want to go to Colgan for 1 reason, quick upgrade, keep in mind:

1. Colgan upgrade is not the one year super quick upgrade it used to be. Currently pilots at skywest, expressjet, chq are upgrading in about the same amount of time (without having to interview for it).
2. High oil prices, LCCs, slowing economy, guys and gals mergers are on the horizon. With mergers means less seats which means less airplanes and you got it, less pilots. One might want to move up a seniority list at a company with a good QOL/pay.
3. Age 65. No need to explain.

Now if you live where Colgan is based and won't have to commute, and don't want to commute, Colgan might not be that bad for you.
